In Sophocles' classic work be transported to Argos, a few years after the Trojan war. The play tells the tale of Elektra, who is left reeling, overwhelmed with grief and a need to survive, following her father, Agamemnon's, assassination by Clytemnestra and Aegisthus. When her long lost brother, Orestes, finally returns home together, they plot to avenge their father's death, but at what cost?
This staging of Elektra is the first major revival of the play in over a decade. Alongside Larson, the talented cast includes Stockard Channing (The West Wing, The Good Wife), Marième Diouf (Romeo and Juliet), Greg Hicks (Grapes of Wrath), and Patrick Vaill (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Oklahoma!).
