Immerse yourself in a dance-theatre spectacular at this year’s Lichfield Festival.
In an imagined world where redheads are outlawed for the extraordinary powers hidden in their DNA, follow one young woman’s journey as she uncovers her past to help shape her future. Packed with original music, jaw-dropping choreography, and unexpected twists, Gingerland is a funny, heart-warming and powerful show about being different – and turning what once made you a target into a superpower.
With a soundtrack of entirely original music, the show blends Latin, hip-hop, ballroom, contemporary and street styles. Expect mind-bending effects, slow-motion sequences —and a fierce sense of fun. Perfect for families, Strictly fans and dance audiences alike.
Gingerland is created, directed, and produced by Neil Jones, with additional choreography by award-winning dancer and Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Kieran Lai, and a selection of top UK choreographers.
